WAYLAND UNION HIGH SCHOOL: 10
Congrats to th lady bulldogs for winning the Otsego Bulldog Classic JV Tourney. They beat Wayland in the championship 11 to 10. The bulldogs had a 9 to 0 lead before the defensive wheels fell off in the top of the third. The bulldogs committed 11 errors for the game but 8 in that inning. Abby Lucas managed to work through the defensive issues to stay strong and not give up another run the rest of the game to hold on for the victory. She had 6 strikeouts total including 2 back to back to end the game with the tying and go ahead runs on base. The bulldogs were limited to 10 hits in the game. Kacie Scott had three hits and Maddy Arlington had 2 and Brinn Carroll, Kennedy Kinnane, Kaylee Vist, Brenna Meyer and Izzy Gregory each had one. Kennedy and Kacie each had 2 RBI'S
