EDWARDSBURG H.S.: 8
i was so proud of how the girls bounced back in the 2nd game. we lost 8 to 5 against the same pitcher. the game was tied 5 to 5 going into the bottom of the 6th when our defense had a few struggles and we lost by 3. again the bulldogs committed 7 errors in a very tricky windy day. the bulldogs hit much better the 2nd game but just failed to get the big hit when needed. the bulldogs left 9 runners on base. we had 9 hits total with kennedy kinnane and kaylee vist each having 2 while brinn carroll, kacie scott, ali janke, brenna meyer and izzy gregory each had 1. kaylee vist strated in the cirlce and got hurt in second inning so brenna meyer came to the rescue and pitched the rest of the way.the 2 pitchers combined for 4 strikeouts, 4 walks and 5 earned runs while scattering 10 hits.
